About the Creator

I realized the problem wasn't the process—it was what we were creating. Parenting plans were often too vague, too rigid, or too disconnected from how children actually develop. That's when I began to develop NMF - neurobiology and child development alongside mediation practice. I discovered that the most resilient parenting plans share specific structural characteristics—they're built on evidence, they account for how conflict affects children's brains, and they're designed to evolve as kids grow. The SAFE Agreement Standards framework emerged from years of research, practice, and testing. It's how I now help mediators, family lawyers, and co-parenting professionals create agreements that don't just resolve conflict—they actively protect children. I'm excited to share this framework with you because I believe every parenting plan deserves to be SAFE.

About the SAFE Agreement Standards Course

You've probably noticed it: mediations that feel resolved in the room, but fall apart six months later. The problem isn't the mediation—it's the agreement itself. If a parenting plan lacks specificity, doesn't account for your child's developmental needs, or leaves room for conflicting interpretations, it's destined to resurface conflict. The SAFE Agreement Standards course teaches you how to translate the Neurobiologic Mediation Framework into the actual architecture of a parenting plan. SAFE stands for Specific, Attuned, Future-proofed, and Evidence-informed—and it's the difference between an agreement that looks good on paper and one that actually protects your child over time. You'll learn the seven structural standards every compliant parenting plan must meet: Specificity, Completeness, Conflict Architecture, Child Insulation, Process Integrity, Developmental Appropriateness, and Child-Welfare Language. By the end, you'll know exactly how to examine whether your agreements provide enough predictability, responsiveness, and safeguards to hold up when life gets messy. This is certification-level training. You'll emerge as a SAFE Practitioner ready to build agreements that work—and ready to advance further if you choose.
