About the Course
This self-paced professional certificate course is designed to equip individuals with the core skills needed to provide safe, trauma-informed, and boundary-conscious peer support in various environments such as community, justice, healthcare, and family-service settings. Hello, I'm Trisha, the creator of this course. I have dedicated my career to helping individuals develop the necessary skills to provide trauma-informed support effectively. Through my own lived experiences , I have honed my expertise in this field and am excited to share my knowledge with you. Addictions has touched many families and individuals it is time to remove the stigma and those with lived experience support others. Lived experience is something no diploma or degree can teach. Combining trauma informed pscyho-education with lived experience is powerful. My goal is to empower you to make a positive impact through peer support work.
