This certification allows professionals to bring the evidence-based START model back to their organizations, creating sustainable, in-house capacity to support clients on their recovery journey. People with lived experience and those wanting to start a grass roots program in their communities may apply also. Additional training will be provided to ensure the facilitator delivers psychoeducation in a manner that promotes healing and connection. Facilitators are admitted based on individual basis you do not need a degree to be a great teacher, lived experience is also valued!
